Google has officially made the Pixel 9 Pro Fold smartphone available in India. The handset, which debuted at last month's "Made By Google" event, is the latest addition to Google's flagship lineup for 2024, alongside the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro XL. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is equipped with the Google Tensor G4 chip, 16GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage. While the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL are already available for purchase in India, the Pixel 9 Pro model is expected to launch later in the country.

The Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold is priced at Rs 1,72,999 and comes in a single configuration offering 16GB RAM and 256GB storage. The smartphone is available in the Obsidian (Black) colour variant. Prospective can purchase the Pixel 9 Pro Fold through Flipkart and select retail stores such as Reliance Digital and Croma. As a launch offer, buyers using ICICI Bank cards on Flipkart can avail a discount of up to Rs 10,000. Additionally, a no-cost EMI option is available for up to 12 months. Google is also offering its Google Charger at a reduced price of Rs 3,498 when purchased with the smartphone.

The Pixel 9 Pro Fold marks Google's entry into the foldable smartphone market in India. This device features a 6.3-inch Actua cover display with a resolution of 1080 x 2424 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a dynamic refresh rate ranging from 60Hz to 120Hz. The cover display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The main display is an 8-inch Super Actua Flex panel with a resolution of 2076 x 2152 pixels and a variable refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is powered by Google's Tensor G4 processor, paired with 16GB RAM and 256GB storage. It also features a triple-camera setup on the rear, including a 48MP primary sensor, a 10.5MP ultra-wide lens with Macro Focus, and a 10.8MP telephoto lens offering 5x optical zoom.

The device's construction includes a multi-alloy steel hinge and an aerospace-grade high-strength aluminum alloy frame, providing it with an IPX8 water resistance rating. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is powered by a 4,650mAh battery, supporting 45W fast wired charging and wireless charging.
