Fitbit Sense 2 And Fitbit Versa 4 Getting These Notable Features Via New Update. Know Everything

Google-owned Fitbit is rolling out the first software update with bug fixes and new features for the Fitbit Sense 2 and Fitbit Versa 4, the media has reported. The new smartwatches from Fitbit were launched globally in mid-2022 and they are getting new features with the most notable one being on-wrist incoming phone calls from the paired smartphone and with a hand gesture, the display can be turned off.
The ability to turn the screen off on the Versa 4 and Sense 2 is similar to what we have already seen on leading smartwatches from the house of Apple and Samsung. earlier, users of Fitbit Versa 4 and Fitbit Sense 2 had to wait for the screen timeout time, with shorter intervals offered, or the screen to shut off when they put their wrist down.
According to a report by 9to5Google, the Fitbit Sense 2 and Versa 4 come with an in-built speaker and microphone, and thus, support the hardware to make phone calls on-wrist if paired with a smartphone. The latest software update by Fitbit ensures that this feature is enabled and it will make it possible for users to receive incoming calls on the smartwatches.
According to the changelog, version 1.184.52 also includes bug fixes and improvements. The update starts rolling out as the Fitbit Sense 2 is discounted $100 and the Versa 4 $80 for Black Friday, the 9to5Google report added.
To recall, the Fitbit Sense 2 was unveiled in India in September and is priced at Rs 24,999 and it is a premium health-tracking smartwatch in the new Fitbit lineup. The smartwatch is an upgrade to the Fitbit Sense and comes with sensors that can detect signs of atrial fibrillation via the ECG app and PPG algorithm which have been cleared by FDA marked by CE, for tracking heart health.
The Fitbit Versa 4 has been priced at Rs 20,499 in the country and it is quite similar to the Sense 2 albeit without an ECG sensor. The Versa 4 comes with more than 40 exercise modes, built-in GPS, Active Zone Minutes and real-time stats. It also has premium features such as "Daily Readiness Score" that should help in tracking activity goals. The Versa 4 also comes with six days of battery life.
