Apple Watch SE 2 could easily be mistaken for the original Apple Watch SE, if not for the slightly different colour options.

Apple Watch SE (2nd generation), or Apple Watch SE 2, is now official. The Cupertino tech giant announced its most affordable wearable — and its most affordable new launch — at the ‘Far Out’ event on September 7. Now, at a quick glance, the Apple Watch SE 2 might appear identical to the OG Apple Watch SE. However, a closer look reveals subtle differences that make the Apple Watch SE 2 a slightly better offering from Apple.

Both the generations of Apple Watch SE come with the same-sized OLED screens, digital crowns, and pebble-shaped aluminium cases. However, the Apple Watch SE 2 is touted to feature redesigned back case made of a nylon composite material, which makes the new wearable a whole lot lighter.
