Apple To Unveil M3-Powered MacBook Air, iPads Soon Without Any Launch Events: Report

Unlike traditional Apple product launches that involve dedicated events, these product introductions might take a different approach, with potential releases accompanied by a select media briefing.

Apple is anticipated to unveil a range of new products, including M3-powered MacBook Air variants in 13-inch and 15-inch models, along with new iPad Pros featuring a substantial 12.9-inch OLED screen, alongside accessories like the Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil. According to a Bloomberg report, this forthcoming announcement is expected to occur within the next few weeks.

Unlike traditional Apple product launches that involve dedicated events, these product introductions might take a different approach, with potential releases accompanied by a select media briefing. While the devices are projected to be available on Apple's official website, there may not be a formal launch event, and instead, Apple might share product-related videos and promotional content on platforms like YouTube.

Furthermore, coinciding with the product launch, there are speculations about the release of iOS 17.4, bringing forth numerous new features. Notably, the update is expected to enable the iPhone 15 Pro series to shoot native 3D videos, enhancing the device's multimedia capabilities.

As per Bloomberg's report, the new devices, including the MacBook Air and iPad Pros, are already in production overseas, indicating a phased announcement strategy by Apple. This approach suggests that Apple will unveil these products progressively rather than all at once.

M3-Powered MacBook Air To Look Identical To M2-Powered MacBook Air

Likewise, the anticipated M3-powered MacBook Air series is poised to deliver enhanced performance, courtesy of more efficient chips. As for the design, expectations suggest that the M3 MacBook Air models will maintain an identical appearance to the current M2-powered MacBook Air.

Reports indicate that Apple's attention is directed toward the upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC 2024), scheduled for June. During this event, the company is rumoured to unveil and showcase new artificial intelligence (AI) features expected to make their way to various devices, including the iPhone, iPad, Mac, and others by the conclusion of 2024. This strategic focus on AI advancements emphasises Apple's commitment to incorporating cutting-edge technologies into its ecosystem, providing users with innovative and intelligent functionalities.
