New Delhi: Apple has officially retired the iPod brand as it has discontinued the production of the iPod Touch, and it says that the devices would be available as long as "supplies last". However, those looking to own this device -- a part of tech history, can still purchase it in India.
The Apple iPod touch 7th gen looks similar to the previous-gen iPhone SE and features a 4-inch Retina display and A10 Fusion chip. There's also an 8MP camera at the back and a 1.2MP camera at the front.

“Music has always been part of our core at Apple, and bringing it to hundreds of millions of users in the way iPod did impact more than just the music industry — it also redefined how music is discovered, listened to, and shared,” Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing, said in a statement.
Where to purchase Apple iPod in India?
The iPod touch 7th gen is still available on the official Apple India website. It is retailing in six colours: Gold, Pink, Blue, Product RED, Space Grey and Silver and in three storage options: 32GB for Rs 19,6000, 128GB for Rs 29,600, and 256GB for Rs 39,700. It is likely that the iPod touch 7th generation is available through Apple's partner offline channels in the country.
