Realme Forays Into Refrigerator Segment In India, Launches Single And Double-Door Models
Handset maker Realme on Wednesday forayed into the refrigerator category with the launch of its single and double-door refrigerators in India.
New Delhi: Handset maker Realme on Wednesday forayed into refrigerator category with the launch of its first refrigerator in India. The stabiliser-free refrigerators from Realme will include single door and double door models. Realme's single and double-door refrigerators are retailing on e-commercce site Flipkart at a starting price of Rs 12,490 and Rs 23,490, respectively.

Realme's single door refrigerators are available in 195 litre and 215 litre sizes with 2-star and 3-star rating models in Floral Patterns colours while Realme's double door refrigerators are available in 260 litre, 280 litre, 308 litre and 338 litre sizes in a single premium Black Uniglass colour. According to the company, both the single door and double door refrigerators have been designed keeping in mind Indian climate and heat. According to a report, Realme refrigerators offer cooling efficiency and come with faster cooling with the Copper Capillaries, thus, taking freezer temperatures up to -23 degrees Celsius.
The refrigerators were listed on e-commerce site Flipkart a few days back, confirming the brand's foray into the category. The brand will compete with the likes of handset makers Samsung and LG who have been making large appliances since years.
