Apple iPhone 14 Series Launching Earlier Than iPhone 13 And Apple Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo Knows Why

We all know that Apple is set to unveil its iPhone 14 lineup, Watch Series 8 and other products and services on September 7, as reported by news agency Bloomberg, which is a few days ahead of the previous schedule, but we did not know why Apple has pushed the launch of the iPhone 14 series earlier. Famed Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo thinks he knows why Apple is going to hold the launch event earlier.

According to the Apple analyst, announcing and shipping the upcoming iPhone 14 series as soon as possible is likely to minimise the impact of recession risk on demand. He added that recession is still growing and unpredictable. Apple would be announcing the iPhone 14 series earlier than the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 lineup.

"The iPhone 14 announcement/shipping date may be earlier than iPhone 13/12, which could be one of the reasons why Apple offered a positive outlook for 3Q22 from the last earnings call," Kuo announced on Twitter on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Apple, for the first time, will ship the India-made iPhone 14 simultaneously with the China-made iPhone models in the second half of 2022, Kuo had said earlier this month. Apple is slated to launch the new iPhone 14 lineup in September.

According to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple's contract manufacturing partner Foxconn in India will ship the iPhone 14 units from its production facility almost simultaneously with China for the first time ever. "My latest survey indicates Foxconn's iPhone production site in India will ship the new 6.1" iPhone 14 almost simultaneously with China for the first time in 2H22 (India being one quarter or more behind in the past)," Kuo, Analyst at TFI International Securities tweeted.

The Apple iPhone 14 series is said to be unveiled next month and it seems like the tech giant has high hopes for the upcoming lineup's initial sales. The company had begun the trial production of the iPhone 14 series and mass production of the lineup in July. The iPhone 14 series may go official sometime in September and the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro are likely to feature the same screen size.

According to a previous report by ITHome, the Cupertino, California-headquartered company has begun trial production of the iPhone 14 series and it plans to mass-produce the lineup in August. The report added citing sources familiar with the matter Apple has told its suppliers that the early sales of the iPhone 14 will be higher compared to last year's iPhone 13.
