Global smart wearables maker Amazfit is set to launch the Amazfit Bip 5 Unity smartwatch in India on May 19, the company confirmed on Thursday. The upcoming smartwatch will come with artificial intelligence (AI)-based Zepp OS 3.0 and will feature a large 1.91-inch AMOLED display and more than 120 sports modes, the company further noted.

Some of the likely features of the Amazfit Bip 5 Unity include a 300mAh battery which is said to provide up to 11 days of usage, over 120 sports modes and health tracking features such as stress detection, sleep analysis, and customisable watch faces.

The Amazfit Bip 5 Unity will have compatibility with Zepp Aura and Amazon Alexa voice assistant. Furthermore, users can share their daily activities within communities through well-known fitness-tracking apps such as Adidas Running, Strava, Google Fit, and several others.

The Amazfit Bip 5 Unity is presently available for purchase in both the UK and the US, priced at $59.99 (roughly around Rs 5,000) and £69.99 (approximately Rs 7,330), respectively. However, the Indian pricing for the upcoming smartwatch remains undisclosed. We expect Amazfit to tease the price and colour options ahead of the launch.

CP Khandelwal, CEO of PR Innovation and Amazfit’s brand custodian in India, posted on X, formerly Twitter, that the smartwatch will be launched with Zepp Aura.

According to a recent post on X by Khandelwal, the Amazfit Bip 5 Unity will indeed include Zepp OS 3.0 and offer compatibility with over 70 downloadable apps spanning fitness, productivity, social media companions, and more. Additionally, the watch will boast a real-time heart rate sensor and SpO2 tracking capabilities as well.
