Coldplay Ahmedabad Concert: Noida Techie Uses 3 Devices, 4 Tabs To Buy Tickets. Still Ends Up Behind 64,000 People

Coldplay tickets for the Ahmedabad concert have gone live today via BookMyShow, the exclusive portal for the Music of the Spheres tour.

Coldplay Tickets: Coldplay ticket bookings for the Ahmedabad chapter of the British rockers' Music of the Spheres World Tour went live on BookMyShow at 12 pm on Saturday. Following the announcement of two shows in Mumbai on January 18 and 19, and a third show on January 21 due to overwhelming demand, Coldplay added a fourth date in Ahmedabad. With tickets selling out quickly, fans are understandably eager to ensure they don’t miss out this time.

One such fan, Shailesh Kumar, a software engineer from Noida, shared his experience of trying to score tickets. Armed with three devices — a laptop, tablet, and desktop — he opened multiple tabs, hoping to improve his chances. Despite his efforts, he was still placed behind 64,500 other users in the virtual queue, as he tweeted his frustration.

We certainly hope Kumar manages to land his tickets eventually before the counter closes, especially considering all the effort he has put in.

Top Tips For Securing Coldplay Tickets

For those still hoping to snag tickets, here are some key tips to increase your chances:

  • Enter Early: Log in to the waiting room ahead of time. While the queue is random, early entry ensures you're ready when sales start.
  • Be Patient: Once in the queue, resist refreshing the page or opening extra tabs, as doing so can cause you to lose your spot.
  • Limit Tabs: Stick to one tab per device to avoid being flagged for bot-like activity.
  • Be Cautious with Changes: Altering your ticket preferences too quickly may trigger security flags on your account.
  • Use Separate Accounts for Multiple Devices: If you're trying on multiple devices, make sure each is logged into a different account to avoid issues.
  • Handle Errors Carefully: If you encounter the "U305" error, which suggests bot detection, try switching devices or networks, or reinstalling the app.

By following these strategies, concert-goers can improve their odds of securing tickets to one of the most anticipated shows of the year.
