TNEA Rank List 2022 Released At tneaonline.org — Here’s How To Check

Releasing TNEA Rank List 2022, TN Higher Education Minister Ponmudi said 133 students have got 200 out of 200 cut-off marks.

Chennai: Tamil Nadu Higher Education Minister K Ponmudi released Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) 2022 Rank List on Tuesday. Over 1.60 lakh students registered for counselling and of them 1,58,157 students will be allowed to take part in the counselling set to begin on August 20, 2022.

According to a report on Times of India, the students who registered for counselling can check their position in the rank list using their email ID and password from the website tneaonline.org.

The rank list is prepared by calculating the marks obtained by the students in Maths, Physics and Chemistry to a cutoff of 200 marks. Using the calculated marks, students are allowed to take part in TNEA 2022 counselling.

The TNEA counselling will officially begin on August 20, 2022. From August 20 to 23, 2022, the counselling will be held for ex-servicemen, students under sports and 7.5% of the government school quota, and Persons with Disabilities. From August 25, 2022, counselling will begin for students of general category and vocational courses.

TNEA Rank List 2022: Ways To Check 

  1. Go to the official website tneaonline.org

  2. On the homepage of the website, a drop-down box on the left will direct to Rank List 

  3. In the rank list sections, PDFs will be available for Academic General, Vocational General, Differently Abled, Vocational Differently Abled, Ex-Servicemen, 7.5% Govt. School Quota, 7.5% Govt. School Quota and Sports where students can download their rank list.

Meanwhile, Minister Ponmudi said, 133 students got 200 out of 200 cut-off marks. The student who topped the list was Renjani K, a native of Tamil Nadu who studied in Kollam, followed by Harinika M of Dharmapuri and Lokesh Kannan M of Chennai. 

The Minister said, TNEA used total marks in Class 12 and 10 to break the tie between students.
