Tamil Nadu: Two History-Sheeters Killed In Encounter In Kanchipuram
Kanchipuram police reportedly took to the encounter after the accused attempted to attack the police officers during their apprehension.
Two history-sheeters were killed in an encounter near Kanchipuram New Railway Station on Tuesday. The encountered history-sheeters were identified as Raghu alias Raguvaran and Aseen. The police took to the encounter after the accused reportedly tried to attack the cops when they attempted to apprehend the accused.
According to ANI, Kanchipuram Police Officials said, "Two history sheeters were killed in an encounter near Kanchipuram New railway station Kanchipuram District. Police were in search of them in connection with the murder of a history-sheeter Prabha."
"Yesterday, Prabha was killed in a revenge attack. Police were investigating this matter and were searching for the accused Raghu alias Raguvaran & Aseen. When police tried to catch them, they attacked Police. Both bodies are kept at Kanchipuram Government Hospital," they said.

According to the police, acting on a tip-off about the presence of two criminals with an extensive criminal record near the New Railway bridge in Kancheepuram, a specially formed team of three rushed to apprehend the duo,
However, they said the duo attacked the police who surrounded them.
The investigation into the case is ongoing.
Meanwhile, the deceased duo are also purportedly linked to the murder of another individual with a history of criminal activities, Saravanan, alias Prabakar, from VOC Street in Kancheepuram. Saravanan had more than 40 criminal cases including murder and various other offenses pending against him.
