Tamil Nadu: Four Minors Held For Allegedly Raping Classmate After Taking Her Home During Lunch Hours

All the minors are students of a Government Higher Secondary School in Cuddalore.

Chennai: Tamil Nadu police arrested four minors for allegedly blackmailing and raping their 15-year-old classmate in Cuddalore on Thursday. The issue came to light after the girl opened up about the incident to her parents.

All the minors are students of a Government Higher Secondary School in the district.

According to a report on The Indian Express, the four boys blackmailed the girl on the pretext that she attended a function without the knowledge of her parents.

It all started when the girl attended a senior student's birthday function on May 22 without the knowledge of her parents and took photos with him. A few of her classmates also took photos and videos of them.

Following this, the accused started to threaten the girl that they would inform her parents about her visit. Feared over this, the girl reportedly pleaded with the boys and told them to delete the footage.
