TN CM Stalin Recovering Well, Advised Rest For A Few More Days: Kauvery Hospital

Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin is recovering well but has been advised to rest for a few more days, said a bulletin released by Kauvery Hospital on Friday. The hospital also informed that all health investigations were performed as per Covid treatment protocol.
In a bulletin, Aravindan Selvaraj, Co-Founder & Executive Director of Kauvery Hospital said, “Chief Minister of Tamilnadu, K Stalin was admitted yesterday for necessary investigations regarding Covid infection. The investigations have been completed and medications have been provided as per Covid treatment protocol.”
“The Chief Minister is recovering well and is in good health. He has been advised to rest for a few more days,” the bulletin said.

Meanwhile, PM Modi called Stalin over the phone and enquired about his health.
The CM was admitted to the hospital on Thursday for investigation and observation for Covid-related symptoms. A CT scan was also taken to rule out any severity of the infection.
TN CM Stalin tested positive for coronavirus on Tuesday. Before testing positive, Stalin on Tuesday reviewed the flood mitigation works in Chengalpattu and the arrangements for Chess Olympiad.
Later in the day, Stalin in a tweet said that he felt fatigued and tested positive for covid.
He also urged people to stay safe, wear mask and get vaccinated.
However, the CM was seen without masks in government events days before testing positive for the virus.

On July 11 and 12, Stalin attended a wedding and met DK leader K Veeramani.
PMK Chief Ramadoss also tested positive for Covid on Thursday.
