Lok Sabha Polls 2024: JP Nadda Reaches Tamil Nadu For 2-Day Visit

Nadda will take part in public programs and chalk plans for the party in Madurai and Karaikudi of Sivagangai district ahead of Lok Sabha Polls 2024. 

Chennai: BJP national president JP Nadda reached Madurai Airport on Thursday for his two-day visit to discuss regarding the strategy of the party eyeing Lok Sabha Polls 2024. Nadda has come to Tamil Nadu just after Congress MP Rahul Gandhi started his Bharat Jodo Yatra from Kanniyakumari in the state.

A tweet from JP Nadda's official account said, "Hon. BJP National President Shri @JPNadda Ji during the welcome ceremony at Madurai airport in Tamil Nadu." 

He was also welcomed with a cultural programme at the airport.

According to ANI, Nadda will take part in public programmes and chalk plans for the party in Madurai and Karaikudi of Sivagangai district. 

He will meet party functionaries and prominent people at Hotel Amika in Madurai. 

After the meetings in Madurai, Nadda will move to Karaikudi where he will hold meetings with the members of Mahila Morcha and BJP office bearers at PLP Palace in Karaikudi. He will also hold a meeting with the state party members. He will then chair state core committee meet at Chettinad Palace in Karaikudi.

Nadda is also expected to address a public meeting in Karaikudi. 

On Friday, he will also offer prayer at Pillayarpatti Vinayaka temple. He will also hold discussions with OBC and SC Morcha wings of BJP.

He will also address both presidents of Sivaganga parliamentary constituency. Later, he will pay tributes to Marudhu brothers at his house in Tirupattur.

Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi, who started his padayatra in Kanniyakumari ahead of Lok Sabha Polls in 2024, is currently in Kochi of Kerala.
