Blocked Roads And Safety Hazards
Due to heavy overnight rain, debris fell on the Mothorwala-Dudhli road, located just five kilometers from the Vidhan Sabha Bhawan, leading to a four-hour blockage. According to the State Emergency Operation Center, 179 roads were initially closed, but around 73 had been cleared by late evening.
Road safety has become a pressing concern in several parts of the state. Locals report accumulation of water and potholes, particularly on roads lacking proper drainage systems. Near Daudwala, the waterlogged road poses a serious risk of accidents.
