"Samajwadi Party has deceived the most backward classes during its rule. That's why the 'Samajwadis' welcomed a senior party leader with a shoe," Rajbhar added.

BJP Considers Brahminism As Hindu Religion, Ignores 90% Of India: SP Leader Maurya

Samajwadi Party leader Swami Prasad Maurya earlier this month said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) considers "Brahmin religion", which is followed by only 10 per cent of the people, as "Hindu religion". He added that BJP does not consider tribals, Dalits, and other backward classes, who form the majority of Indians, as Hindus, reported news agency PTI.

Maurya told PTI that the ruling BJP-led NDA is a "Non-Democratic Alliance", as he exuded confidence that the opposition bloc's INDIA will deliver a defeat to the two-time Narendra Modi government at the Centre in the upcoming Lok Sabha election.
