Man Posing As Advocate Hurls Shoe At SP Leader, Whipped By Supporters — Watch
A man was thrashed brutally by the supporters of SP leader Swami Prasad Maurya after he allegedly threw a shoe at the leader in Lucknow.
A man was thrashed brutally by the supporters of Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Swami Prasad Maurya in Lucknow after he allegedly hurled a shoe at Maurya during an event. The man posed as an advocate and threw a shoe at the SP leader following which, a crowd full of Maurya's supporters started pulling and beating the man during the OBC Sammelan which was being held here. The workers also shouted 'Swami Prasad Maurya Zindabad' slogan while slapping and kicking the man.
In the video posted by the news agency PTI, police personnel could be seen trying to push away the stream of supporters who refused to stop at any cost. The man faints on the ground due to continuous beating.

Reacting to the incident, SBSP president OP Rajbhar attacked Samajwadi Party saying that SP has deceived the most backward classes during its rule in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

"Samajwadi Party has deceived the most backward classes during its rule. That's why the 'Samajwadis' welcomed a senior party leader with a shoe," Rajbhar added.
BJP Considers Brahminism As Hindu Religion, Ignores 90% Of India: SP Leader Maurya
Samajwadi Party leader Swami Prasad Maurya earlier this month said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) considers "Brahmin religion", which is followed by only 10 per cent of the people, as "Hindu religion". He added that BJP does not consider tribals, Dalits, and other backward classes, who form the majority of Indians, as Hindus, reported news agency PTI.
Maurya told PTI that the ruling BJP-led NDA is a "Non-Democratic Alliance", as he exuded confidence that the opposition bloc's INDIA will deliver a defeat to the two-time Narendra Modi government at the Centre in the upcoming Lok Sabha election.
