PM Modi Flags Off 2 Amrit Bharat, 6 Vande Bharat Trains From Revamped Ayodhya Dham Station
PM Modi flagged off two new Amrit Bharat trains and six new Vande Bharat trains on Saturday.
PM Modi In Ayodhya: Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off two new Amrit Bharat trains and six new Vande Bharat trains on Saturday. This comes after PM Modi inaugurated the Ayodhya Dham Junction Railway Station, a significant milestone in the government's commitment to enhancing infrastructure and connectivity. Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, CM Yogi Adityanath, Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw were also present during the inauguration.
The Vande Bharat Express trains include routes such as Ayodhya-Anand Vihar Terminal, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-New Delhi, Amritsar-Delhi, Coimbatore-Bangalore Cantt, Mangalore-Madgaon and Jalna-Mumbai.

The Ayodhya Dham Junction Railway Station, built at a cost of more than Rs 240 crore, is a contemporary three-story structure outfitted with cutting-edge amenities such as lifts, escalators, food plazas, and child care rooms. Notably, the station is 'accessible for everyone' and has been recognised by the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) as a green station building.
Earlier in the day, PM Modi, who arrived in Ayodhya on Saturday, held a roadshow along special corridors in the city. The special corridors are Ram Path, Bhakti Path, Janmabhoomi Path, Dharma Path. PM Modi will not take the Bhakti path today. He began his roadshow on the Dharma Path.
PM Modi arrived in Ayodhya to a warm reception by CM Yogi Adityanath and Governor Anandiben Patel. He is scheduled to inaugurate the Maharishi Valmiki International Airport Ayodhya Dham airport as well as the redeveloped railway station. His visit comes weeks before the grand consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple on January 22.

During his visit, PM Modi will lay the foundation stones of several other new projects that will be contributing to the revamp of civic facilities in and around Ayodhya.
PM Modi is set to unveil projects valued at over Rs 11,100 crore for enhancing civic amenities and fostering infrastructural development in Ayodhya. An additional Rs 4,600 crore has been allocated for projects across Uttar Pradesh.
