Nearly 40 people have been killed in landslides and other rain-related incidents even as damages to properties running into crores have been reported from Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Uttarakhand.
Flash floods and landslides claimed 18 lives over the past two days in Himachal Pradesh, while nine people died in Punjab and Haryana, seven in Rajasthan and three in Uttar Pradesh.

The first visual is from Himachal Pradesh where a massive rockslide was witnessed as rain continued to lash parts of the state.

The second visual is from Haryana's Ambala where people were seen wading through waist-deep water. Several residents in Ambala complained of facing problems related to power and water.
