Ayodhya Ram Mandir: Temple Authorities Stage Laser Show Before Consecration Of Ram Lalla Idol On Jan 22. VIDEO

Ayodhya Ram Mandir: Grand laser shows were organised in the city ahead of the consecration ceremony which is scheduled to take place on January 22.

Ahead of the consecration event of Ram Lalla idol in Ayodhya Ram Mandir, a grand laser show was organised in the city on Friday. The consecration ceremony for the Ram Lalla idol is slated to take place on January 22, 2024, and the General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, Champat Rai, has compared that day's importance to that of Independence Day and getting Kargil back.

Rai told news agency ANI "January 22, 2024, is as important as August 15, 1947; it is equally important as getting Kargil back, and as much as the detention of one lakh soldiers was important in 1971."

While talking about the people and their feelings ahead of this consecration event, he said that there is a feeling of satisfaction. He added that after 1983, people from across the nation started getting associated with the cause and soon it became the subject of respect of the whole nation.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be attending the consecration ceremony on January 22. Preparations to beautify Ayodhya are in full swing.

Ayodhya's Beautification In Full Swing

Graffitis of Lord Hanuman and Lord Ram's name were seen on various shutters of shops across the city.

Rangolis could be seen on the streets. However, what has become the centre of attraction at the moment is Shri Ram and Ram Temple model key rings.

A 108-foot-long incense stick (agarbatti) is also being prepared in Gujarat's Vadodara ahead of the ceremony. After being completed it will be sent to Ayodhya.

Development works are also in full swing. Gaurav Dayal, Divisional Commissioner, Ayodhya, told ANI that four major corridors are being constructed and three out of them have been completed. He added that the work at Rampath has been going on at war footing and a deadline of December 30 has been set for the same. Dayal then said that fly-overs will be constructed in a phased manner due to which some lanes will become operational by December 30, and others will open up as soon as the work is completed, as reported by ANI.
