ABP Network's 'The Southern Rising Summit' in Hyderabad will showcase South India's influence, featuring thought leaders, politicians, and artists like Telangana CM Revanth Reddy, historian Vikram Sampath, and actor Prakash Raj.
ABP Network's much-anticipated 'The Southern Rising Summit' is set to take place in Hyderabad on October 25, 2024, bringing together an array of thought leaders, political figures, and artists. The summit, themed "Coming of Age: Identity, Inspiration, Impact", will highlight South India's achievements and its growing influence on the national stage.
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is among the key speakers, offering his vision on the region’s evolving identity and growth.
KT Rama Rao, Telangana MLA and minister in the previous BRS government, will discuss the responsibilities of the Opposition in Telangana's political landscape.
Aravind Sanka, Co-Founder of Rapido, will share insights into transport accessibility, while Dr. Vikram Sampath, noted historian and author, will discuss historical narratives from Savarkar to Tipu Sultan.
The summit also boasts participation from cultural figures such as Pullela Gopichand, renowned badminton coach and Padma Bhushan awardee, who will speak on community transformation through sports. Alongside him, political voices like Jyothsna Tirunagari, former president of Telangana Telugu Mahila and TDP spokesperson; Dr. Shama Mohamed, national spokesperson for the Congress; Kompella Madhavi Latha, BJP leader; and Dr. Kanimozhi Somu, DMK MP, will share their perspectives on leadership and social impact.
In addition, actor and costume designer Gautami Tadimalla will discuss the evolving roles of women in cinema, and classical dancer Yamini Reddy will explore the themes of tradition and modernity in the arts. Hyderabad's cultural essence will be celebrated by Mohammad Ali Baig, a Padma Shri awardee in theatre, as he speaks on the city's influence as a muse for creators.
The lineup also includes prominent political figures like Madhu Goud Yaskhi, Congress’s Campaign Committee Chairman in Telangana, and Raghunandan Rao Madhavaneni, BJP MP from Medak. Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu, Union Minister of Civil Aviation and National General Secretary of the TDP, will share his journey from MP to minister, reflecting on the region’s political evolution.

Actor Prakash Raj will bring his perspectives, sharing insights into his career that spans various roles, and actor Raashii Khanna will discuss the versatility required to act across different platforms.
Singer Shilpa Rao is set to provide a musical touch, exploring how soundtracks shape lives. The event will culminate with a vote of thanks by Vijay Jung Thapa, Chief Digital Officer at ABP Network.
