I Don't Hurl Allegations, Don't Have Rift With Anyone: Sachin Pilot After Jan Sangharsh Yatra Concludes

Congress leader Sachin Pilot after culminating his Jan Sangharsh Yatra said, his Yatra is against corruption and not against any individual.

Congress leader Sachin Pilot concluded his five-day "Jan Sangharsh Yatra" on Monday, delivering a reminder to his party about their commitment to addressing corruption under the leadership of Vasundhara Raje Scindia. Pilot clarified that his opposition is not directed at any specific individual but rather at the pervasive issue of corruption, emphasizing that the Yatra served as a prominent attack on this problem. He further highlighted the support he received from the public during the Yatra, underlining that it stemmed from their shared concern about corruption. Pilot emphasized that the Gehlot government still has six months remaining to fulfil its promise before the upcoming elections.

When asked about the perceived disunity within the Congress ahead of the state polls, Pilot stated, "I neither make allegations against anyone nor do I harbour personal conflicts with any individual," as reported by news agency ANI.

He further urged the state government to take decisive action against corruption, particularly instances such as the leakage of examination question papers, which directly impact hardworking students. The Pilot stressed the importance of addressing such corrupt practices.

In an exclusive interview with ABP News, Pilot discussed the issue of corruption and its implications for governance. He referred to previous instances, such as the alleged 40 per cent corruption in Karnataka, which prompted public support for Congress and led to the formation of a majority government.

Similarly, during Vasundhara Raje's tenure as Chief Minister of Rajasthan, allegations of corruption were publicly levelled against her government, yet no action was taken despite the considerable time that had passed. Pilot expressed concern over the lack of investigation despite his repeated requests, which ultimately compelled him to stage a strike.

Pilot reiterated that his intentions are not aimed at targeting any specific individual, but rather at demonstrating to the public that their promises are upheld through the thorough investigation of corruption allegations.
