MP's Gruesome Triple Homicide: Woman & Daughters Aged 3 & 8 Found 'In Pool Of Blood'

The bodies of the woman and her elder daughter were found in the kitchen while the younger daughter's was in the bedroom.

A woman and her two daughters have been found dead in their house in Madhya Pradesh’s Sagar City in a suspected case of murder. According to PTI, the bodies were found in a pool of blood at the family's house in the Nepal Palace area under the Civil Line police station limits on Tuesday night.

The deceased have been identified as Vandana, 32, and her daughters Avantika, 8 and Anvika, 3.

Vandana's husband Vishesh Patel works at the district hospital, sources were quoted as saying in the PTI report. He lived with his wife and daughters, but the report didn't mention any further information on him. On Tuesday night, Vandana and her elder daughter's bodies were found in the kitchen, while the younger daughter's was in the bedroom, Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Sanjeev Uikey told the news agency.

"Prima facie, it is a case of murder and an FIR has been registered in this connection," he added.

Uikey said that around 10 teams have been formed to investigate the gruesome murder.

Tamil Nadu Mom & Daughters Found Dead

Earlier this month, a woman and her daughters were found dead in their house, inside a sump, at Ondipudur in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The deceased were identified as T. Pushpa, 38, T. Harini, 9, and T. Shivani, 3, according to The Times Of India.

A preliminary inquiry revealed that the woman’s husband V. Thangaraj, under the influence of alcohol, allegedly murdered one of his daughters by throwing her into the sump at their Nesavalar Colony home. Following this, Pushpa jumped into the sump along with her other daughter.

Police said Thangaraj, a wall painter, was addicted to alcohol and had not gone to work for the last four months. He often fought with his wife and demanded money to buy liquor, Times of India reported.
