A fresh spell of rain lashed the national capital on Tuesday amid the ongoing monsoon season.

Delhi Weather Updates: Several parts of the national capital witnessed waterlogging on Tuesday morning following heavy and incessant rainfall in the Delhi-NCR region.
In the visuals that surfaced on Tuesday, commuters were seen facing problems due to heavy downpours as vehicles waded through waterlogged roads.

The showers come after the India Meteorological Department (IMD), in its bulletin on Monday, predicted that the national capital is set to receive light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorms during the week.

In the visuals shared by news agency ANI, an autorickshaw was seen submerged as incessant rainfall battered parts of Delhi.

Following the showers, the temperature in the city on Tuesday morning was recorded at 28.4 degrees Celsius.

The IMD also said that the city will witness a generally cloudy sky throughout the week. The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 35 degrees Celcius.
