Delhi-NCR Weather: Delhi To Get Relief From Cold, Minimum Temperature To Rise Around November 20

Changes in wind direction is expected to bring the stubble burning smoke from neighbouring states to Delhi, leading to a rise in minimum temperature, IMD predicted.

New Delhi: Changes in the direction of wind and pollution will provide some respite from the cold waves in Delhi for the next few days, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). However, the weather will get colder from the last week of November.

As per the IMD forecast, the maximum temperature on Tuesday is estimated to be 26 degress Celcius and the minimum temperature will be 10 degrees Celsius.

Minimum temperature to rise after November 20

The city is set to witness shallow fog and partly cloudy sky over the next few days. Visibility would remain low due to the foggy condition. According to the weather department, the minimum temperature on November 17 will be somewhere around 9 degrees Celcius and the maximum temperature will hover around 25 degrees Celcius.

However, changes in wind direction is expected to bring the stubble burning smoke from neighbouring states to Delhi, leading to a rise in minimum temperature, IMD predicted.

The maximum temperature in Noida is estimated to be around 27 degrees and the minimum temperature 18.7 degrees Celsius around that time. The maximum temperature in Gurugram is estimated to be 22 and the minimum temperature 11 degrees Celsius, IMD said.
