The official announcement has been made by Tyson Fury himself via a video released on his official Instagram account.
In the video, the legend has shared a 'short and sweet message' for his fans.
Here's what he said:
"Hi everybody, I'm going to make this short and sweet. I would like to announce my retirement from boxing, it's been a blast. I've loved every single minute of it. I'm going to end with this, Dick Turpin wore a mask. Gob bless everybody, see you on the other side."
