Trouble For BCCI As Varun Chakravarthy Suffers From Knee Pain Ahead Of T20 World Cup

India's mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy is battling knee pain. Even with this pain, Varun is still playing IPL for his team Kolkata Knight Riders.

New Delhi: Varun Chakravarthy, the star Indian mystery spinner representing Kolkata Knight Riders is a bit troubled as his knees are not in good condition. He has been troubled by knee pain for a long time now. Even with this pain, Varun continues to play brilliantly for his team Kolkata Knight Riders. Varun Chakravarthy has also been named in the Indian team squad for the T20 World Cup starting October 17.

Varun's injury becomes a concern for BCCI

Varun Chakravarthy's knee pain continues to be a big concern for the BCCI. Varun is considered to be one of the leading bowlers of the Indian team in the T20 World Cup. The BCCI wants Varun Chakravarthy to play in the World Cup for Team India under any circumstances. So the board's medical team is working hard to ease Varun's knee pain.

If his knee pain persists then most probably Varun Chakravarthy will be dropped from the team. The changes in the Indian team can happen until October 10. Everyone is hoping to see his full recovery so that he can represent the Indian team in this upcoming World Cup. A KKR's support staff said that Varun is being given pain killer injections to subside the pain in his knees.
