Pakistan in T20 World Cup 2022: Babar Azam-led Pakistan cricket team will be entering the T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia as one of the favorites. Fans have high hopes from the Men-in-Green to win the coveted title as the team has done pretty well in the last few years in white-ball cricket. Pakistan's bowling attack is the key factor for them in T20 WC 2022, but their middle-batting order remains a big concern. Pakistan were even favorites in the last T20 World Cup, but luck did not favor them as Australia star batter Matthew Wade hammered Shaheen Afridi for three back-to-back sixes in penultimate over to win the semi-final, handing Pakistan a heartbreaking loss. 

“We have a team that can perform strongly in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022. That’s why we have shown faith and confidence in almost the same set of players who have been part of the T20I squad post the 2021 World Cup in the UAE," Pakistan chief selector Mohammad Wasim was quoted as saying by ICC.
