Steve Smith caught on camera abusing Murali Vijay
New Delhi: There has been a lot of acrimony between the two teams throughout the series. Steve Smith's 'DRS Brain Fade' started it all before rival captain Virat Kohli stopped short of calling him a "cheat". Now, the Australian skipper has given a birth to a fresh controvery. Smith looked on the field and was seen abusing the Indian opener Murali Vijay as ‘f**king cheat. The incident took place when Josh Hazlewood egded Ashwin to Murali Vijay at gully. Vijay took a low catch and the Indian team started celebrating and Vijay ran back to the dressing room to prepare himself for the Indian innings. However, the field umpires were not convinced whether the catch was clean so they decided to review the catch. The third umpire did not find any conclusive evidence and had to overturn the decision and Vijay had to return back to the field to finish the Australian second’s innings. Vijay was not a happy man and so was smith Here is the video:
