Sachin Tendulkar To Facilitate Indian Women's U-19 World Cup Winning Team Before Ind-Aus 3rd T20I
India U-19 women's cricket team defeat England U-19 team by seven wickets to win the inaugural edition of ICC Women's U-19 World Cup at Senwes Park in Potchefstroom, Sunday.
Indian batting icon Sachin Tendulkar will facilitate Indian Women's U-19 World Cup-winning team ahead of the third and final T20 International between India and Australia, Wednesday, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
"It is with great delight I share that Bharat Ratna Shri @sachin_rt and @BCCI Office Bearers will felicitate the victorious India U19 team on Feb 1st in Narendra Modi Stadium at 6:30 PM IST. The young cricketers have made India proud and we will honour their achievements," BCCI secretary Jay Shah announced on his official social media handle.

Sachin took to Twitter yesterday to praise India U-19 team for their historic triumph. "Indian women’s cricket is on the up! First the announcement of the #WPL & now tThe #U19T20WorldCup win. Congratulations to the entre women’s team on winning the inaugural U19 World Cup. 🇮This win will inspire a whole generation to take up sports," wrote Tendulkar.

Tremendous bowling performance followed by quality knocks from Gongadi Trisha and Soumya Tiwari helped India U-19 women's cricket team defeat England U-19 team by seven wickets to win the inaugural edition of ICC Women's U-19 World Cup at Senwes Park in Potchefstroom, Sunday. India bundled out England for 68 in 17.1 overs and then returned to chase down the paltry target in 14 overs to win the prestigious title.
The cricket fraternity lauded Shafali Verma and Co for their historic win. Rohit Sharma and other stars like Virat Kohli, Sourav Ganguly, Irfan Pathan congratulated the U-19 Women's team for lifting the inaugural U-19 T20 World Cup.
