Paralympics 2024 Live Day 5 Highlights: It's Another Day in the Paralympic Games where medals are assured for India. The only wait through the course of the day is to find out the colour of the medal and whether or not the Indian contingent can assure or add more medals to their tally.
The Indian contingent has 2 gold medal matches scheduled in the day with Nitesh Kumar and Suhas Yathiraj both in with a chance to bring a gold medal for India in badminton. There are Indians in action in the bronze medal match too in badminton with Sivarajan Solaimalai/Nithya Sumathy Sivan set to represent the country in the men's doubles category while Sukant Kadam playing for the bronze.

That was a superb day for India as the country's contingent won eight medals in total with two golds. Javelin thrower Sumit Antil highlighted the day as he broke his own record twice in what was a jaw-dropping performance to win a gold. Shuttler Nitesh Kumar had also won a gold earlier in the day. To finish the day off on a high, it was shuttler Nithya Sre Sumathy Sivan who claimed a bronze to take India's medal tall to 15.
