It could be another medal day for India at the Paris Paralympics 2024 on Tuesday (September 3). This after a record-breaking day Monday which saw Indian athletes winning 8 medals, the Indian contingent would now be eager to take their overall medal tally of 15 to past their best-ever tally of 19 which came in Tokyo and then take take to as big a number as possible.

It has been a great performance already and with Avani Lekhara back in action today, all Indian fans are hoping for a medal from the shooter. There is no Indian event before 1 pm (IST) today with Mona Agarwal, Avani Lekhara's qualification to kick off the day for India with both of them having already won a medal each in the other event with Avani winning the gold amd Mona taking the bronze to ensure a double podium finish for India, in a rare sight at the Paralympics.

India's Shailesh Kumar was unable to clear 1.88m in his second attempt in the Men's High Jump T63 Final.

India's Mariyappan Thangavelu also fails to clear the 1.88m mark in his second attempt and again in his third attempt, ending his chances for the gold medal in the Men's High Jump T63 Final.

His best effort remains 1.85m.
