Paris Olympics 2024, Full List Of Indian Results On August 2: India could not add to their medals tally on August 2 (Friday). However, they did take a few firm steps towards medals in some events while narrowly missing out on a podium finish in some of the other disciplines that they featured in.
The highlight was perhaps Manu Bhaker storming into yet another final after having already clinched two medals in the ongoing edition of the Olympic Games. Lakshya Sen too scripted history by becoming the first ever male shuttler from India to storm into the men's singles semifinals of the Summer Games.
It was a case of so close but yet so far for the Indian archers' in the mixed team event where Ankita Bhakat, Dhiraj Bommadevara first ensured that they reached the semis for the first time but succumbed to defeats against South Korea and USA to miss out on a medal.
