Navdeep humorously responded that every athlete experiences emotions for their sport, and it just so happened that his emotions were captured on camera.
"It wasn’t about emotions, it was about the game. And in sports, there's always passion. In Haryana, it's in our soil and blood. So, it wasn’t like I was trying to show off. Every athlete has it—whether it's Virat Kohli, Neeraj Chopra, or anyone else. It's just that my emotions were captured on camera," laughed Paralympic 2024 gold medallist in javelin for India, Navdeep Singh.
