BCCI Secretary Jay Shah told news agency ANI that CSK skipper is not not charging any honorarium for his services.
New Delhi: Two-time World Cup winning captain MS Dhoni has been appointed as the mentor to team India for upcoming T20 World Cup, set to be played in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Oman from October 2021. Meanwhile, BCCI Secretary Jay Shah told news agency ANI that CSK skipper is not not charging any honorarium for his services.

Team India has not won a single ICC Trophy since the 2013 Champions Trophy when MS Dhoni was the captain of the Indian cricket team. Since then, the Men in Blue have participated in four World Cups but failed to win any.
World Cup will be played in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Oman from 17 October. The qualification matches start on the 17th while the main tournament begins on 23 October with Australia vs South Africa.
