WPL 2025 opening ceremony will be held over the first two days of the tournament.

WPL 2025 Opening Ceremony: The third season of the Women's Premier League (WPL) is set to kick off on February 14 with Gujarat Giants (GG) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) taking on each other in the opening fixture. Moreover, a star-studded opening ceremony, featuring performances from some of Bollywood’s most renowned celebrities is also set to captivate fans. Interestingly, this year, the WPL opening ceremony will follow a new format, spanning two days.

To kick off WPL 2025, the opening ceremony will be held over the first two days of the tournament, but only during the mid-innings break. On February 14 (Friday), Bollywood star Ayushmann Khurrana will perform during the mid-innings break of the GG vs RCB match.

The following day, February 15 (Saturday), renowned singer Madhubanti Bagchi will be the star attraction, delivering a performance during the mid-innings break of the match between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Delhi Capitals (DC).

Date: February 14 and 15, 2025

Time: Mid-innings break (Approx. 9:00 PM IST)

Note: Since the matches will begin at 7:30 PM IST, the opening ceremony performances are expected to take place around 9 PM IST (or earlier if the first innings concludes sooner).

Venue: Vadodara International Cricket Stadium, also known as Kotambi Stadium
