Shubman Gill Fraud Case: Indian Cricket Team superstar Shubman Gill stands at risk of being arrested in a 'Chit Fund Scam'. The ace batter, along with 3 other Gujarat Titans players, received summons from the Gujarat CID, in a Rs 450-crore scam. The four cricketers involved in the latest scam are Shubman Gill, Mohit Sharma, Rahul Tewatia, and Sai Sudharshan.
How Are These Cricketers Involved In The Scam?
As per the reports, when officials got hold off Bhupendrasinh Zala (the mastermind of investment fraud), he gave the names of these four cricketers, stating that he did not return the money invested by the afore-mentioned Gujarat Titans players.
Apparently, Shubman Gill had reportedly invested Rs 1.95-crore in the Ponzi scheme, while other cricketers made a smaller investment.
"If Mehta is found guilty in this case, strict action will be taken. We have prepared a team of accountants who will examine the informal account books and transactions operated by Jhala. The unofficial book has been taken into custody by CID officials and raids are being conducted continuously at different places since Monday," said an official, as reported by Ahmedabad Mirror.
Bhupendrasinh Zala is involved in a Rs 6000-crore scam, and has different companies to his name, who promise high returns and rewards if people make certain amount of investement in their company.

Bhupendrasinh Zala is the owner and CEO of the following companies:
- BZ Financial Services
- BZ Traders
- BZ Group of Companies
His companies provide financial benefits by returning the investors' money at guaranteed 7% interest (written) on fixed deposits, and 18% on investment and carried the transactions through ICICI bank, and few other banks.

These are merely reports and there are no concrete evidence in concern with the scam as of yet. Therefore, Shubman Gill remains untroubled for now.
