MS Dhoni's daughter get rape threats: Reacting to the shameful incident, former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan took to Twitter to say that players may not give their best but that doesn’t give anyone the authority to give a threat to a young child.

In a shameful incident, Chennai Super Kings skipper MS Dhoni was at the receiving end of a lot of hate and abuse on social media as the team under his leadership is losing matches continuously at the moment in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL).

CSK started the season well by winning their opening game against defending champions Mumbai Indians but overall the heavyweights have won only two matches out of six they’ve played and moreover, Dhoni is yet to deliver with a heroic innings in the tournament with his bat and the fans aren’t happy it seems.
Some of the users blamed Dhoni for CSK's failure and while trolling even dragged his family as they gave rape threats to the two-time World Cup winner's five-year-old daughter as well which has left many in shock now and is absolutely uncalled for.
Slamming the trolls, a social media user wrote-

Reacting to the shameful incident, former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan took to Twitter to say that players may not give their best but that doesn’t give anyone the authority to give a threat to a young child.

“All the players giving their best, sometimes it just doesn’t work but it’s doesn’t give anyone any authority to give a threat to a young child #mentality #respect,” tweeted Irfan.

Despite being in complete control in most part of the game against Kolkata Knight Riders, Chennai Super Kings collapsed in the death overs and lost the match by 10 runs. This was CSK's fourth defeat in 6 matches played so far this season. The captain of the team, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, blamed team's batsmen for the loss.
KKR scored 167 runs, thanks to a brilliant half-century from opener Rahul Tripathi (81). In response, CSK were able to score 157 for five despite Shane Watson's (50) half-century and his 69-run partnership for the second wicket with Ambati Rayudu (30).
CSK started strong with 90 for loss of one wicket after 10 overs but KKR bowlers Sunil Narine (1 wicket for 31 runs), Varun Chakravarthy (1 wicket for 28 runs) and Andre Russell (1 wicket for 18 runs), bowled brilliantly in the last 10 overs to give their team a super win against the yellow army.
