Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL 2024 Auction: Check below the complete list of players acquired by Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 Auction.

The Indian Premier League (IPL) auction for the upcoming 2024 season is underway in Dubai on December 19, showcasing plenty of action amid a day flooded with big spending by the teams. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) made significant changes to their bowling unit ahead of the auction, releasing a cadre of bowlers such as Josh Hazlewood, Harshal Patel, and Wanindu Hasaranga. Consequently, Faf Du Plessis' team aimed to revamp their bowling arsenal, prioritising fast bowlers while also eyeing a quality frontline spinner.

In the auction for the 2024 IPL edition, RCB spent INR 11.50 crore to secure West Indies fast bowler Alzarri Joseph. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) initiated the bidding for Joseph at INR 1 crore, but after reaching INR 2.80 crore, they withdrew. Delhi Capitals (DC) then entered the scene. As the bidding escalated to INR 6.60 crore, CSK stepped back, and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) entered the fray. Eventually, in a competitive bidding battle between Super Giants and Challengers, Faf du Plessis' RCB acquired the pace sensation.

RCB also engaged in trades, acquiring Mayank Dagar from Sunrisers Hyderabad and securing Australian all-rounder Cameron Green from Mumbai Indians a few days earlier.
