'Mahibhai Will Take The Last Flight When Everyone Reaches Home Safe': CSK Member
MS Dhoni has opted to take the last flight in the CSK contingent as he wants everyone to return home safely and securely.
New Delhi: Indian Premer League (IPL) stands suspended due to the rising cases of Covid-19 among the IPL players. Although the foreign players are still in quarantine in India, the domestic players returned to their respective home cities. Chennai Super Kings, who were stationed in New Delhi before the IPL got suspended arranged for their players to return back home. Amid this, MS Dhoni, the captain of CSK has opted to take the last flight after ensuring the safe and secure passage of his teammates.
“Mahibhai said that he will be the last person to leave the hotel. He wanted foreigners to leave first, then the Indian players. He will be taking the last flight tomorrow (Thursday) when everyone reaches their home safe and secure," a CSK contingent member told the Indian Express. As per the same report, MS Dhoni said that the safe return of the foreign players is their priority.

Sourav Ganguly also said that the foreign players will be returning back to their country directly except Australian players who will have to stay in the Maldives for some time before heading towards Australia.
Meanwhile, Chennai Super Kings batting coach Michael Hussey will have to wait for a COVID-19 negative result before he can leave the country. To Keep Hussey safe, Chennai Super Kings have flown him from Delhi to Chennai in an air ambulance.
"As for MS, he is heading home in the afternoon in a charter we have arranged which will be a hopping flight. It will head from Delhi to Ranchi and from there to Hyderabad. MS was clear that he wanted to wait till everyone left and only then he would leave the bubble we created in Delhi," a senior CSK official told ANI.
