'Mahi Bhai Aapke Liye..': Ravindra Jadeja's Post For MS Dhoni After IPL 2023 Triumph Breaks The Internet

Ravindra Jadeja dedicated CSK's IPL 2023 win to MS Dhoni.

MS Dhoni hugged and lifted Ravindra Jadeja after the all-rounder finished things off for the Men in Yellow and helped them clinch their fifth title.

It was an occasion to remember for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The Men in Yellow secured their fifth title by beating the Gujarat Titans (GT) in an epic encounter that went all the way down to the last ball late on Monday night. In a match that had its ebbs and flows, Ravindra Jadeja found himself under the spotlight with CSK needing 10 off 2 balls and the southpaw finding himself on strike.

Up until then Mohit Sharma had delivered a superb final over, not missing his line and length by an inch. However, Jadeja held his shape to smash a six off the penultimate ball straight down the ground to bring the equation down to four needed off four balls. With the pressure on the bowler, Mohit perhaps erred on his line for the first time but Jadeja showed nerves of steel to guide it past the fine leg fielder who was stationed inside the 30-yard circle for a boundary.

After helping clinch a win by 5 wickets, Jadeja shared a post on social media dedicated to CSK's talisman captain MS Dhoni who has been at the helm of affairs for each of their five titles. 

"We did it for ONE and ONLY “MS DHONI.🏆 mahi bhai aapke liye toh kuch bhi…❤️❤️," Jadeja tweeted along with pictures with the veteran captain. His post has instantly gone viral on social media.

Other than Jadeja, who eventually finished unbeaten on 15 off 6 balls, Player of the Match Devon Conway 47 off 25, Shivam Dube 32 off 21, Ajinkya Rahane 27 off 13, Ruturaj Gaikwad 26 off 16 and Ambati Rayudu 19 off 8 made invaluable contributions to the team's win as CSK chased down their revised target of 171 in 15 overs after GT had posted 214/4 in 20 overs riding on half-centuries from Sai Sudharsan (96 off 47) and Wriddhiman Saha (54 off 39).
