LSG Vs SRH IPL 2025: Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) are set to take on Sunrisers Hyderabad (CSK) in Match 61 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season on May 19 (Monday) at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.

LSG find themselves in a do-or-die situation with just three games to go and 10 points from 11 matches. Currently placed seventh, another defeat would officially end their playoff chances. The Rishabh Pant-led side has hit a rough patch, losing four of their last five match.

However the recent break could serve as a turning point, giving them a chance to reset and reassess their game plan.

LSG have suffered a major blow with pace sensation Mayank Yadav ruled out due to injury. The young Indian pacer has been replaced by New Zealand's Will O’Rourke. Their only route to the playoffs is winning all three remaining fixtures against SRH, GT and RCB to finish on 16 points. But with a poor NRR of -0.469, their hopes rely not just on victories but also on favourable results elsewhere.

At the same time, SRH who are already out of the playoffs contention, will be playing for pride. The Orange Army will aim to spoil LSG’s campaign, especially after their earlier defeat this season. On a positive note, all overseas players are available for selection.
