KKR vs DC IPL 2024 Today Match Prediction: Here's who is likely to win today's KKR vs DC match of the IPL 2024, at the Eden Gardens stadium.

KKR vs DC IPL 2024 Today Match Prediction: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will go up against Delhi Capitals (DC) in the 47th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) season 2024 at the Eden Gardens stadium in Kolkata on April 29 (Monday). KKR will enter the contest on the back of a record-breaking loss against Punjab Kings in their last IPL 2024 outing where they failed to defend the target of 262 runs in 20 overs.

Delhi Capitals, on the other hand, have staged a remarkable turnaround in the IPL 2024 season, as they started their campaign on a poor note but have managed to win four of their last five encounters. Kolkata Pitch Report KKR vs DC IPL 2024 Match

The last match between Punjab and Kolkata was proof enough that Eden Gardens has had batter-friendly pitches on the offering in this season of the IPL. Something similar can be expected for the KKR vs DC IPL 2024 clash as well. Both the teams feature power-packed batting lineups and will bank on getting a high score if they win the toss.

KKR vs DC IPL 2024 Match Prediction- Who Will Win?

KKR and DC both have been performing well when it comes to the batting department. KKR scored 261-6 in their 20 overs in the previous match batting first. On the other hand, DC scored 257-4 in 20 overs in their last match batting first. So, it is fair to say that their batting has been in great form.

However, their bowling has been the main issue. Despite scoring 261 runs in the first innings, KKR’s bowling lineup failed to defend the target with eight balls still remaining. DC, on the other hand, won their last game against Mumbai Indians but their bowling also let Mumbai come near the target of 258 as they lost the match only by 10 runs.

KKR’s batting will depend on their opening batters the most- Sunil Narine and Phil Salt. Both of them have been in sensational form and if they get going batting first,  DC will have a big score to chase. For Delhi, Jake Fraser-McGurk has been the main man as he has been striking the ball with the strike rate of over 250. Batting first, or chasing, DC will bank on another blazing performance by McGurk.

Match Prediction: With DC being in form and having wins on the back of them, we expect them to come out on top once again and register their sixth IPL 2024 win.
