A total of 577 players, including both domestic talent and top international stars, will go under the hammer as all 10 IPL teams aim to shape their squads for the next three years. Initially, 574 players were shortlisted, but three more have been added, bringing the final count to 577 participants.

Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 mega auction has a new start time to avoid clashing with ongoing India vs Australia 1st Test in Perth. Originally set for 3:00 PM IST, IPL 2025 auction will now start at 3:30 PM IST on November 24 and 25.
