IPL 2021, CSK Vs RCB: Ravindra Jadeja scored 37 runs in one over and created history. He hit five 6s, one 4 and ran a couple. Harshal Patel was the bowler who faced the wrath of Jadeja’s batting. Jadeja went 6, 6, 6nb, 6, 2, 4, 6 in the seven balls of the 20^th over. CSK’s score went up to 191 courtesy of this humongous hitting batting by Ravi Jadeja. He scored 62 in 28 balls and also picked up three wickets. It was a Ravindra Jadeja show today at the Wankhede. Worst thing, from the point of viw of the RCB fans is that Jadeja was dropped on 0. Well, someone has wisely said, "Catches win Matches". 

Patel gave 14 runs in his first three overs, while his last over went for a whopping 37 runs. His figures went from 3/14 to 3/51 in a matter of one over. RCB eventually lost the match by 68 runs but the sixes by Jadeja would be edged in everybody’s memory for a really long time.

Not just with the bat, but it was Jadeja’s day in the field as well. He ran Dan Christian out and also picked up three wickets for just 13 runs.

By scoring 37 in one over, Ravindra Jadeja broke the record for scoring the most number of runs by an Indian cricketer in any T20, even more than Yuvraj Singh’s 36 from the 2007 T20 WC. (One no-ball helped Jadeja score that many runs despite not hitting six out of six).

Jadeja winning the man of the match award was the most predictable thing to happen today.
