New Delhi: Rajasthan Royals' star opener Jos Buttler was in brilliant batting form today as he brought his A-game to the 9th match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022, being played between Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals at the DY Patil Stadium.
Buttler gave his team a quick start as he reached his fifty off just 32 balls after starting steadily against Mumbai bowlers, but his innings exploded to life when he hammered pace bowler Basil Thampi for 26 runs in the fourth over of RR's innings, hitting 5 consecutive boundaries (three sixes and two fours) off this over.

Later, Buttler went on to score his century off 66 balls with the help of 11 fours and 5 big sixes, his second century in IPL. Earlier, he had scored a ton in IPL 2021. Buttler's ton and his 82-run solid partnership with Sanju Samson helped Rajasthan post 193/8 after losing the toss.
