IPL 2022 mega auction news: In the ongoing mega Auction of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2022), all 10 franchises have shelled out huge amounts to buy players this time. Many young bowlers including Deepak Chahar, Shardul Thakur, Prasidh Krishna bagged a good sum in this year's auction. Let's take a look at the players who bagged 10 crores or more in the IPL auction 2022.

1. Ishan Kishan (15.25 crores) - Indian wicket-keeper batsman Ishan Kishan has been bought by Mumbai Indians in IPL 2022 auction for Rs 15.25 crores.

2. Deepak Chahar (14 crores) - Many teams showed their interest to include fast bowler Deepak Chahar in their team, finally Chennai Super Kings acquired the speedster by spending a huge amount of 14 crore.

3. Shardul Thakur (10.75 crores) Delhi Capitals left no stone unturned to buy all-rounder player Shardul Thakur. The franchise spent 10.75 crore to acquire him in the auction.

4. Harshal Patel (10.75 crores) - Harshal Patel, Purple Cap winner in IPL 2021, has been bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore for Rs 10.75 crore

5. Prasidh Krishna (10 crores) - The in-form pace bowler has been bought by Rajasthan Royals for Rs 10 crore

6. Lockie Ferguson (10 crores) - Lockie Ferguson has also entered the 10 crore club. New Zealand's star bowler has been bought by Gujarat Titans for Rs 10 crore

7. Avesh Khan (10 crores) - Uncapped player Avesh Khan, who entered the auction with a base price of 20 lakhs, was bought by Lucknow Super Giants for Rs 10 crore.

8. Shreyas Iyer (12.25 crore) - Shreyas Iyer, a possible future Kolkata Knight Riders skipper, has been bought by the franchise for Rs 12.25 crore.

9. Wanindu Hasaranga (10.75 crores) - Sri Lankan leg-spinner Vanindu Hasaranga was acquired by Royal Challengers Bangalore for Rs 10.75 crores.

10. Nicholas Pooran (10.75 crores) -  West Indies wicket-keeper batter Nicholas Pooran has been bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs 10.75 crore.

11 Liam Livingstone (11.5 crores) - Liam Livingstone was bought by Punjab Kings for Rs 11.5 crores, making him the most expensive foreign player in this year's auction.

Ishan Kishan & Deepak Chahar Set Bidding On Fire!

Chennai Super Kings bought Deepak Chahar for Rs 14 crores, who is now the 2nd most expensive player today. For the first time in the auction, Chennai bought a player for such a huge amount.

Opener Ishan Kishan became the second most expensive Indian player to be sold at auction in the history of IPL. Yuvraj Singh is at number one in this list. For the first time in the auction, Mumbai made a bid of over Rs 10 crore for a player.
