IPL 2022: David Warner Excited To Play For Delhi, Says 'Want To Learn One Shot From Rishabh Pant'

New Delhi: Delhi Capitals (DC) is scheduled to play their next match against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on April 7 in the Indian Premier League (IPL). In what comes as a big boost for Delhi, star opener David Warner has finally made himself available for their much-awaited clash against Lucknow at DY Patil Stadium.
Delhi Capitals team has played two matches so far, winning one and losing one, while Lucknow Super Giants have played three matches, winning two and losing one. With a star batter like Warner joining the Delhi IPL team, the franchise will aim to bounce back from their 14-run defeat in their last match against Gujarat.

After joining Delhi Capitals, Warner talked about the shot he wants to learn from captain Rishabh Pant.
Warner started his IPL career in 2009 as he played for Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) back then. Warner said, "I want to learn to hit with one hand from Rishabh. He is a young captain and an integral part of the Indian team. I want to get a chance to bat with him."

Talking about working with head coach Ricky Ponting, he said, "Ricky has been successful with Delhi Capitals. He was a successful captain of Australia and is now respected as a coach. It will be a great experience working with him."
