IPL 2022: Fan Breaches Security To Meet MS Dhoni During CSK vs RR Match, Video Surfaces

A video has gone viral on social media in which a fan can be seen defying security to enter the field so that he could meet his idol MS Dhoni.

New Delhi: New Delhi: Four-time Indian Premier League (IPL) winning skipper MS Dhoni's popularity among his fans is simply superb. It doesn't matter at which stadium or what part of the country a match of cricket is being played, no matter what, the two-time World Cup-winning skipper gets a warm welcome from his die-hard fans pan-India. Fans' never-ending love for MS Dhoni was seen once again during Chennai Super Kings (CSK) vs Rajasthan Royals (RR) IPL 2022 match at Mumbai's Brabourne stadium on Friday.

Even though CSK has been knocked out of the IPL 2022 Playoffs race, Dhoni fans reached the venue to support their team in their last league stage match.

A video has gone viral on social media in which a fan can be seen defying security to enter the field so that he could meet his idol MS Dhoni. The incident took place when Dhoni and Moeen Ali were playing the last few overs of CSK's innings. However, the security got hold of the guy and took him away.

Talking about CSK vs RR IPL 2022 match, Rajasthan Royals (RR) defeated Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by 5 wickets in the 68th match of IPL 2022 to secure their place in the playoffs.

Batting first, CSK set a target of 151 runs for Rajasthan on the basis of Moeen Ali's 93-run knock. Rajasthan chased down the target with 2 balls to spare. For Rajasthan, Yashasvi Jaiswal scored a half-century, while R Ashwin played an unbeaten innings of 40 runs in 23 balls with the help of two fours and three sixes.
