Indore: After rain played spoilsport in the series opener between India and Sri Lanka at Guwahati, team India started the year on a winning note as they outplayed Sri Lanka by seven wickets in the second T20 International on Tuesday. The convincing win gave the hosts an unassailable 1-0 lead in the three-match series. Earlier, the Indian bowlers fired in unison on Jasprit Bumrah's return to international cricket with Navdeep Saini shining bright as they restricted Sri Lanka to 142/9. 10:10 pm- Team India skipper Virat Kohli finishes off in style as he hits a maximum to help his squad take 1-0 lead at Indore with one match to go. Also, he scores 1000 T20I runs as captain of team India.
