Rishabh Pant vs Dinesh Karthik Debate
There are talks going around in the cricket fraternity as to who is the better keeper-batter option between Rishabh Pant and Dinesh Karthik, team India should go for in the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia. Both Pant and Karthik have been named in India's squad for T20 World Cup 2022.
Team India opted for Dinesh Karthik in their playing XI for the first T20 against Australia. Earlier, Pant was preferred over veteran Karthik in the Super 4 stage of the Asia Cup 2022 but his consistent dismal form led to Karthik's selection in Ind vs Aus T20Is.
Rishabh was picked alongside Karthik in India XI for 1st T20I vs South Africa.
Ahead of India vs South Africa T20I series, captain Rohit Sharma had said he wants Pant and Karthik to regularly feature for India ahead of the T20 World Cup.
“I wanted both of these guys to have a number of games under their belt before the World Cup. When we went to the Asia Cup both of these guys were in the fray to play all games," Rohit told reporters.
